Baby Sarah* – Redeeming Grace
Sarah was just a few months old when we heard her mom was making plans to sell her. Baby trafficking rings are common in Cambodia, and every month a number of babies get trafficked across borders to be sold for underground adoptions, begging, or other forms of exploitation. These babies are often trafficked and re-trafficked numerous times before they reach their youth.
But baby Sarah will never have to go through such pain. We were able to immediately meet with Sarah and her mom, come to an agreement, and got them into our care before the sale went through. Everlasting Love (our training and discipleship program) actually saved them both. Now she is safe in our daycare program, while mom works and trains, so they can both have a different life.
“To grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” ~ Isaiah 61:3.
Not only that, but because of her mom’s bravery, a connected case of pedophilia, rape, and illegal prostitution is nearing an arrest. Please continue to pray for justice.
